So this was my NYFW Day… I lost count look. It includes one of my favorite trends right now, vinyl skirts. I love the combination of the vinyl with different textures. It’s so fun to mix vinyl, metallics and that cool scuba-like material on my bag. I wore this vinyl skirt look on Sunday morning and if it was any other time other than fashion week I would say that it was a little aggressive for a 10AM show Sunday morning but are there rules for fashion week? No, so it was fine. Regardless this outfit is killer and it won’t break the bank.

This year my amazing photographer Nicole and I teamed up to take on fashion week and we honestly had the best time running around New York getting amazing content, chasing down cabs and eating pizza. The one thing we did the most would definitely be chasing down cabs. If you look at the cab pictures, there’s actually a person trying to get out of that cab looking at me like I’m legitimately a crazy person. Hey, at least I opened the door for them right? Ok so back to the outfit details.

This vinyl skirt fits really well so it’s safe to say that it’s petite approved. I love the vinyl look with the oversized bow. I think it says edgy but I have this bow so it’s super cute too. This vinyl skirt would be perfect for fall with a white oversized sweater. It’s pretty versatile.  I wore it with this bodysuit though and the star trend is still here and in full force. There is a large oversized star on the front of this bodysuit and it’s sheer where the outline of the star is. No sudden movement should be made haha kidding I promise you won’t flash anyone. The star outline falls in the perfect spot and the bodysuit doesn’t really shift.

Here’s a little real life at fashion week for ya… If you look closely in the photos you can see bandaids sticking out of the tops of these metallic mules. The blisters you get during fashion week are no joke! When I got to New York, I found out that three of the shoes I wanted to wear gave me the worst blisters in the world.  Thank goodness for Revolve though. I ordered these awesome metallic mules and they arrived in like 2 days. I wore them with at least 2 of my outfits so they totally saved me. Metallic shoes are a huge trend for fall and these won’t give you blisters so I would highly recommend them. Earlier on in the day I got my hair done at Samuel Shriqui Salon and I did the Kerastase Fusio-Dose treatment. I’m going to do a more in depth post about how amazing the treatment was in the next few days but that’s why my hair looks so bouncy and amazing in these photos. I honestly don’t think I have ever seen my hair looking this good!

Confession: I packed literally like 15 pairs of sunglasses for my vacation and for fashion week. These are super cool because the lenses are this metallic blue color so it works really well with the metallic shoes and the vinyl skirt. I also think the shape of the sunglasses are really unique because they’re still oversized but a fresh shape for an oversized pair. I wore this amazing Chanel bag from Trendlee. I’m obsessed with it. It fits so much and literally looks brand new. I loved adding a pop of color to the look as well as a different texture with the vinyl skirt so I thought the bag really brought it all together.
