NYFW: Diane Von Furstenberg

An array of bright colors mixed in with beautiful whites took over the runway at the Diane Von Furstenburg Spring 2013 RTW show. Shiny lip cut outs hung from the ceiling and added the perfect amount of glam to the set. Welcome to the return of oversized round sunglasses, loose fitting trousers and plunging necklines. The collection definitely had a 60s flare to it with the dramatic sleeves and relaxed maxis. White on white seems to be a recurring theme throughout the week but there was a lot of turquoise, kiwi green, burnt orange and coral in the show today. Color combinations to be on the lookout for are coral and navy. I absolutely love how the collection is so light and effortless but still so chic at the same time.

A touch of peplum with the plunging necklines is the perfect combination of sexy and sophistication. The accessories from the show were great. The use of the thick metal belts is the perfect addition to the color blocked pieces.
