The Cat’s Meow- The Smokey Cat Eye Makeup Tutorial

Eye Shadow: // Bobbi Brown // Too Faced //
and a touch of : // Naked // Eyeliner: Chanel // Mascara: Benefit //

As many of you know from my last eye makeup post, Apple of My Eye, I am obsessed with the Naked Palette and Tom Ford Eyeshadow Quad.  I’m going to walk you through how to complete the smokey cat eye makeup tutorial with a few of my favorite products. But today I’m going to tell you about two of my other favorite eyeshadow palettes to give you more options and flexibility on works best with your skin tone and style. These have a little less of a gold/bronze tone and a little more of a warmer copper color. I usually end up mixing all four palettes to achieve the look I want.

While the smokey eye is my favorite, I did branch out and add in a little bit of a smokey cat eye too. It is getting kind of close to Halloween so be careful on how far you extend the wing. My general rule of thumb is that the wing should be out far enough where you can still blend it into your eyeshadow to complete the look. Just make sure you can easily go to fill in above the wing without the shadow line extending too far out.
