Happy solar eclipse day! I will be the first to admit that I am by no means an expert on the solar eclipse but it is a super cool experience. I was lucky enough to borrow someone’s glasses today to check it out. The eclipse symbolizes new beginnings and fresh starts. It also has a different meaning for each astrological sign. I’m not huge on astrology but I do find it really interesting to read up on every now and then.

Ok so let’s talk about this sheer dress! It’s kind of funny that sheer is now a thing since more often than not we at least used to make sure items weren’t sheer. I love a sheer dress but it definitely needs to be the right time and place. I wore this dress at Nobu on the Fourth of July. Ahh yes, the night this whole ankle mess happened. Anyways, the sheer dress was perfect for that occasion because it was the Fourth and part of the event was outside, etc. Would I wear this to dinner with my parents? No.

This sheer dress is one piece so it sort of looks like a bodysuit is built into the lace skirt. I love that the top has a tie in the front too. I think it’s a really cute touch. I wore the sheer dress with these flatform shoes. I also finished the look off with these super fun earrings! I love the bold colors especially since I don’t wear bold colors a lot. I might be bringing this dress on vacation to one of the beach clubs but it’s still tbd. What do you think about a sheer dress?
