This post is all about dressing up denim and my favorite pieces (including the ones I’m wearing) from the Treasure & Bond x Something Navy collab with Nordstrom. Dressing up denim is a great trick because it’s an easy way to look effortless. This outfit is perfect because technically it’s just a top and jeans but really it’s so much more than that. The collection sold out super fast but I just checked on Nordstrom and I think there was a restock or they got more sizes because there are a lot more sizes available than there previously was. So if you missed it the first time, now is your chance!

Speaking of dressing up denim… let’s talk about these jeans! I love them for so many reasons. The fit is great. I got a size 24 (the 23 was sold out) and I feel like they’re a little big but definitely still wearable. They aren’t really a skinny but also aren’t boyfriend so they look super up to date. The dressing up denim element definitely comes to play with the pearl details on the sides. I love that these are cropped and the detailing around the crop looks really high-end. The type of denim is great and doesn’t seem to stretch out too much.  I’m super picky about jeans and these are now one of my favorite pairs.

Dressing up denim is more than just the jeans though. The top has so much to do with it too. I love this shade of grey for some reason and I really like the combo of the grey with the ruffled sleeves. It’s sort of casual but far from it. This is basically how I would describe most of Arielle’s Treasure & Bond x Something Navy line. Each piece is a great day-to-day classic but with a twist that makes it super stylish but still effortless. Nothing looks forced or trying too hard. This collection really is great.

The ruffled sleeved top helped to dress this up but I feel like the shoes and bag helped finish it off. I could have easily worn this with white sneakers and a mini backpack and the look would have completely changed the look. It still would have been super cute but for this case I wanted to dress it up. I have been living in these white kitten heels. It sounds strange but they just go with so much. I loved how they dress up the denim just enough without being over the top. The bag did the same thing. I don’t know if any of you have noticed but I really love eyes so this bag had my name all over it. I like that it’s more structured because it’s different from what I normally wear. The silver and blue colors worked with the shade of denim and the blues in the top perfectly.

What are your thoughts on dressing up denim? Also if you are looking for fall staples that aren’t boring but still versatile and stylish definitely check out the Treasure & Bond x Something Navy collab. It’s honestly one of the best collabs I’ve seen in a while. I feel like it’s mostly because it’s really on brand and the collection is all things that you would see on Arielle so it just makes sense. You can tell she put so much time and effort into it and it totally paid off.
