One of my favorite trends right now is monochromatic, I love the long lines the use of the same color creates. It is so funny to think back to my private school days when it was considered a sin to show up to school looking like a “blueberry” in a navy skirt with a navy crew neck sweatshirt.
This look is from Juicy and it is the most comfortable outfit you could ever wear. I actually bought the top and pants in black too because I loved it so much. Monochromatic creates such a minimalistic look but it is also a canvas for accessorizing. In my case, I wore my David Yurman earrings for a touch of sparkle and chose to go with a sleek pony to play off the sassy but modern look of the red.
Monochromatic gone bad:
I absolutely cannot stand when the top and bottoms are different shades or materials. The point of this look is to have the same material and color shade, if they aren’t they same you’re doing it wrong.

I love your style because it is such a prefect combo between european chique (i’m belgian!) and american classics … I don’t know how you do it, but you look prefect on every look you show! Plus, I love your hairstyle .. I might print a picture and take it to my hairdresser 🙂
