It’s All Race Horses and Caddies From Here

While normally my first reaction with outdoor events is be “Can’t. My Louboutins would get stuck in the grass,”well I’ll make an exception for these next two events. Say hello to Carolina Cup and Masters season. It’s time to channel your inner Jackie O (a little more than usual) and be sure to look like a member of the Kennedy family.

If you aren’t wearing oversized sunglasses your’e doing it wrong.

Nothing says classic like a pair of oversized Chanel sunglasses and a strand of pearls. Just make sure you don’t look like you’re wearing wallpaper or you will be getting looks like the one below. No one wants to be “that girl.”

Audrey doesn’t approve.

Yes, neons are really in this season but I would leave the neon at home. It could:
 a. distract the golfers or
 b. scare the horses  (and none of these things are good)
Bright colors on the other hand are totally acceptable. Oh, and for Carolina Cup and the Masters looking like an Easter egg is acceptable so break out those pastels.
Here are my thoughts on hats for Carolina Cup. It’s easy. If you look good in hats wear one. If you don’t, don’t. If you don’t the ones that do will be jealous that you don’t have hat hair and they do. It has its benefits.  But if you do wear a hat to a Derby, rock it.

I could do an entire post just on men’s attire for these fabulous events but here is a super cute bow tie post. Please tell me he knows how to tie a bow tie or you have much bigger issues at hand.

Stay Fabulous,
xoxo
